Mood of April 18

Didouche Mourad Road, sitting on a café terrace. One young man joins another:

"When can we meet up to talk to them?" asks the first to arrive.

- Friday?" replies the second.

- Friday? Are you out of your mind? Friday's a black hole. It's no longer a day of the week, it's not even a day anymore. You have to find something else, like Sunday or Monday, something like that, but not Friday."

It's not even a day of the week anymore. The Hirak* isn't even a day anymore.

*Literally: movement. Refers to the series of sporadic protests that have been taking place since February 16, 2019 in Algeria.

– Vendredi ?
