Exhibiting art is a craft, a chain of risk-taking. Exhibiting works means unfolding a fold, undoing a knot to create new ones. Redrawing the territory of an idea or inventing a territory for an idea that has none: the grail of curatorial activity. The whole world as a single museum. It's this quest that has driven the paths I've taken since the late 1990s, curating some thirty exhibitions and international biennials. Could we one day think of the museum as a continuation of the world as it is? Will the museum one day be sensitive to the cries of the Earth and its inhabitants?
