Arkhè

With Arkhè, architecture is defined in terms of the founding myths: the Garden of Eden, the Hut, the Monument, Fire, Weaving and the Mother's Den. The radical and experimental architecture movements, from the 1960s to the present day, appear to be the ultimate attempt to make all architectural thought a process for reconsidering the discipline, no longer as the art of building the future, but as the art of rewriting the history of the discipline from its origins.
